Juniors Captain - 2011

To My Fellow Juniors

Firstly, I would just like to say what an honour it is to be Junior Captain at such a great golf club.

I am going to try my best to help this thriving Junior section move forward again this year. As well as trying to improve my own game, I am going to encourage other Juniors to progress also.

One of my main aims is to help the next batch of youngsters get used to playing in competitions as an individual as well as a team. This will help the section overall, whilst at the same time, introducing newcomers to the challenge of Junior competition as a whole.

Myself and some of the older, more experienced players are here to guide the younger players towards a bright future in playing golf. I am going to do my bit to ensure that we have a successful and enjoyable year.

I would like to add, that I am here to help any of the juniors that have any issues on the course or off it, so feel free to come and have a chat with me when you see me at the club. Paul is also here to help too.

I hope to have a great year as Junior Captain of Breadsall and I am looking forward to the start of the season. More than anything, I want all the juniors to enjoy your golf and have a great season.
